Elise Long
A member of New Tribes Church Planters of the Philippines, and AMT, Elise works with the indigenous Palawano people in the mountainous rainforests of Palawan Islands.
This team has established Palawano Gospel Ministries, partnering with the Palawano church as an integrated family of ministries firmly grounded in the Gospel of Grace.
Their vision is to see the Gospel transform the lives of the indigenous Palawano people of the Philippines, so that they and their communities can flourish, through Church Planting, Education, Agriculture and Community Transformation.
Elise’s varied role includes overseeing the work in Menti village, coordinating the different aspects of the ministry, and translating the Scriptures into the local dialect.
Elise has a daughter, Becky, married to a Baptist pastor, Damon. They have given Elise four beautiful grandchildren.
The book of Ephesians is among Elise’s favourites, and she is excited to share from Ephesians 6
